Ji-Won’s First Interview
1. Can you share the story behind your decision to pursue music and form KŌDE310? What inspired you to take this path? (Explain: How your members came together)
I woke up one day to a phone call say La Tray loves your looks. Do you have talent? And I said who? lol
- What is the meaning behind the name “KŌDE310,” and how does it reflect the group’s identity and vision? (Explain: How your members came together?)
My brother calling La Tray 310 because of her phone number. He doesn’t care for names until he gets to know you. - Can you tell your fans about your creative process when writing and producing music?
I write about my moods.
Good or bad. Some keeps a journal or diary, I write. - What do you think sets KŌDE310 apart from other groups? How do you plan to stand out?
They have us and we chill. Nothing serious over here. All laughs - How do you handle the pressure of creating something unique in an industry with so much competition?
We are our own biggest competition. In my eyes I complete against myself so there is no pressure from outside. - Who are your biggest musical influences, and how have they shaped your sound and creative process?
Yunho, AST1, Kim Hyunjoong, Michael Jackson, 2Pac, Freddie Jackson - Is there a particular artist, group, or producer you dream of collaborating with in the future?
Probably Freddie Jackson. He knows how to charm the ladies with his voice - What can fans expect from your debut with KŌDE310? Are there any specific styles or concepts you’re excited to explore?
Just expect to see a little bit of crazy from brothers but music that you can relate to - If you could change one thing about the music industry, what would it be and why?
People being real with themselves. Really talk about their own experiences. - What message do you hope your music leaves with listeners, and how do you want them to feel after hearing it?
I want people to feel good. Get excited when they hear us
Bonus question:
When you were a child, were you good or bad?
I didn’t hear any good stories from my mom so I’ll let that alone lol
